• Walk the refuge to see seasonal flora and fauna. Depending on the month, expect to observe wintering waterfowl and local wildlife. Walks are conducted in areas of Eastern Neck National Wildlife Refuge that are usually closed to the public.

2022 Kent County Firehouse Toy Run starts @ 10:00 AM at the Chestertown VFC
Stops in Rock Hall at RHVFC, Kent & Queen Anne's Rescue Squad, Millington VFC, Galena VFC, Kennedyville VFC, Betterton VFC, and final drop-off at Worton Community Center @ 2:00 PM.

On Sunday, December 11 at 4:00 PM, the Mainstay, in partnership with the Hedgelawn Foundation, presents a musical celebration of the seasons with a visit by Harp and Soul, perennial musical favorites in a program they have titled “Harp and Soul: Songs for the Season.
