The Mainstay is excited to kick off another year of pianist Joe Holt’s monthly “First Friday” shows – each with a different guest list and one of Joe’s carefully crafted themes.

Mad Agnes, the genre-bending acoustic music trio, first performed at the Mainstay in 2022, and the audience response was impressive. We immediately rescheduled them for an encore performance, but the weird weather gods of last summer interfered and the show was canceled.

KCPL Cares Giveaway: Fitness Trackers
The library is not a standalone organization, it's a vital part of the community! KCPL Cares is a quarterly free giveaway initiative that lets us connect with and support the community in a variety of ways.

Teddy Bear Tea Party
Ages 2-8: You're invited to bring your favorite teddy bear or stuffed animal to the library for a tea party! We will celebrate with snacks and reading!

On the second Wednesday of every month (beginning at 7:00 PM) the Mainstay welcomes area performers to take the stage and perform a sampling of their repertoire.

The Mainstay in Rock Hall MD welcomes the return of our friends, the acclaimed gospel trio Sombarkin’. Sombarkin’ features the vocal talents of Karen Somerville, Lester Barrett, Jr. and Jerome McKinney.
