Recycled Runway

Chestertown RiverArts is sponsoring their first annual Recycled Runway the evening of Saturday, March 24 at the Rock Hall Volunteer Fire Department.  This upscale fashion show will feature fabulous, one-of-a-kind creations designed by artists and groups of all ages using recycled or re-purposed materials. Each entry is created from recycled and re-purposed materials that may include paper and plastic bags, candy wrappers, duct tape, aluminum cans, bottle caps, cardboard, or pieces of discarded clothing that will be transformed into high-class fashion.  The designer’s imagination is the only limit! In true fashion show style, models will wear the creations down the runway giving everyone a close-up view of the creations. The evening will also feature a silent auction. Guests will enjoy heavy appetizers as well as wine and beer cash bars.
