Selkie Books: Meet the Artist & Reception

Ms Leone’s beautiful art that includes a splendid collection of WORKBOATS, as well as Eastern Shore wildlife and OLD ROCK HALL scenes, is perfect for “springtime sprucing up” of our homes as we prepare for summer visitors, or gifting as wonderful souvenirs of our beautiful town - or displaying simply for our own year-round pleasure! The Artist’s limited number of single prints are matted and will be available for purchase at a modest price, and for signing by Ms Leone.

Come meet this lovely lady, a resident of Rock Hall for the past 22 years. Ms Leone’s father was a gifted artist so she began drawing and painting at an early age. She loved the waterfront and boats of Long Island, which led her to find the Eastern Shore of the Chesapeake. Ms Leone’s work has included watercolors, oils, and pastels, as well as her long career as a textile designer.

Enjoy the afternoon with Ms Leone in the Cottage this Saturday, April 23, from 1:30-4:30pm, with complimentary “Selkie’s House Punch & Cookies” and other lite fare!
