BARBARA M LOCKHART
Ms Lockhart is the Maryland State Arts Council Award-winning Author of Novels, Short Stories, and Children’s Books, which celebrate life on the Eastern Shore; including her acclaimed “Elizabeth’s Field, Of Freedom and Bondage on Maryland’s Eastern Shore,” a historical novel of the pre-Civil War free Black population that earned an IPPY Silver Medal, and most recently an Award from the UGRR Free Press; “The Night Is Young,” Short Stories set in rural ES Maryland, a National Indie Excellence Finalist; great “Collected Stories”; and charming Children’s books: “Rambling Raft,” “Once A Pony Time,” “Will’s Tractor,” and “Mosey’s Field.” The Author lives on an Eastern Shore farm where she tends her beautiful gardens, and has exciting new writing in the works for us!
 
J F SEBASTIAN
A native of Baltimore, the Author lives in Maryland with his wife, two children, and loyal German Shepherd rescue. Mr Sebastian has been a Contributing Writer for the Capital-Gazette Newspapers in Annapolis, as well as a community writer for Patch.com. He has spent most of his adult life coaching track & field at the collegiate, high school, and club levels, having coached three national champions and one US Olympic Trials qualifier. The Author shares with his family and friends a love of biking, running, crabbing, and kayaking. The Author’s first novel, “Escaping Waterbury Liquors,” is an Action & Adventure Romance set in a small Maryland town.
