GEMMA HOSKINS
Ms Hoskins is the awesome force behind the 2017 Netflix True Crime Docuseries “The Keepers,” that began the investigation into the unsolved murder in late 1969 of a young Catholic Nun teacher at Baltimore’s Archbishop Keough High School who many believe was about to turn in a priest for abuse of minors. Sister Cathy was a favorite teacher of Ms Hoskins and inspiration for the Author’s 36 years as a Teacher, and becoming a Maryland Teacher of the Year. Upon retirement, Ms Hoskins and a classmate vowed to seek justice for Sister Cathy Cesnik, whose brutal murder remains unsolved today, and to support abuse victims through their foundation for survivors. The Author’s compelling memoir, “Keeping On,” and her “Teddy Tales, A Puppy Primer,” about her faithful companion will be available for Gentle Readers.

WENDY SAND ECKEL
A professional criminologist and social worker with years in a psychotherapy clinical practice, Ms Eckel ‘naturally’ has created an Award-winning Cozy Mystery series featuring her darling bread-baking heroine Rosalie Hart in “Murder at Barkley Meadows,” “Death at the Day Lily Cafe [Best Cozy of 2016, Suspense Magazine],” and new in 2022, “Mystery at Windswept Farm.” The Author, herself, is a terrific cook, whose home with a view of the Chester River she shares with the love of her life and two rescued orange tabbies, ‘Frodo’ and ‘Sam’. The Author is an active member of the Mystery Writers of America and the International Association of Crime Writers.

TODAY! 3:00 PM! Sunday Afternoon in the Captain’s Cave: Special Live Music by Rock Hall’s very own, totally fabulous Steve McGovern (Blues Harmonica) & Eleanor Dicey (Vocals, Ukulele) of ‘The Incantations’ and ‘Blues-Keepers Band’.
