Now let’s be clear about this. Fortunately (for all of us) Joe Holt is not using this as an opportunity to debut his singing prowess. The responsibility to sing classics from these artists falls on the shoulders of female vocalist Randall Butler, accompanied by her partner for the evening, guitarist Jeff Davis. This pair of seasoned performers were on the very short list of music pros that Joe at one time entrusted with hosting one of his regular shows at the Mainstay. That’s a high bar to meet. This time around Joe will be there to add his piano accompaniment to the “soulful” playlist that Randall has come to represent and continues to excite her audiences with.
