Reading, Signing, Discussion, Reception for the Author’s newly Revised Edition of her Award-winning title (Donald Justice Poetry Prize in 2015) that includes poems highlighting the achievements of Women Aviators!

 

Ms Valdata has authored several volumes of poetry and also written articles for the magazines Chesapeake Bay, Diverse Issues in Higher Education, Soaring, and Women in Aviation. She earned her MFA in Writing from Goddard College, and is the recipient of three Individual Artist Awards from the Maryland State Arts Council. The Author is a native of New Jersey, who now lives in Crisfield, MD, and is a Member of the Eastern Shore Writers and Maryland Writers Associations. Ms Valdata is a Founding Member of the Women Soaring Pilots Association.
