Public Hearing - "Comprehensive Plan: 2040”

The Town of Rock Hall Planning and Zoning Commission will conduct a Public Hearing on its draft "Comprehensive Plan: 2040” on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, beginning 7:00 PM, at the St. John’s Catholic Church Hall, 5621 South Main Street, Rock Hall, Maryland. 

How to view the Plan draft:

• Visit the Town’s website 
• Go to the Town Office at 21447 Rock Hall Avenue or the Rock Hall Branch of the Kent County Library at 5746 Main Street.
• Request a copy to be emailed to you by calling Cheryl at 410-639-7611 ext.101. or email her at cbutler@rockhallmd.gov. 

The Planning Commission invites all members of the Rock Hall community to attend the Public Hearing and provide comments on the draft Plan. Comments may also be provided in writing, through October 18, 2023, to the attention of Mr. Vic Costa, Chairman of the Planning Commission,  P.O. Box 367, Rock Hall, Maryland 21661. Upon eventual adoption, the new Plan will replace the Town's current comprehensive plan as the guide for land use and municipal development policy for the next 20 years. The Planning Commission is required to conduct this Hearing as a step before approving the Plan and recommending it to the Mayor and Town Council for official adoption. The Planning Commission encourages you to attend the Hearing and to share your comments on new draft Plan.
