MAINSTAY - Joe Holt Welcomes Brad Chaires
Joe Holt, pianist, host, and impresario for The Mainstay’s monthly First Friday series, welcomes Brad Chaires to share the stage with him for his November program. Chaires is a well-known, much loved local singer, actor, and director in Kent County theatrical circles. He has had starring roles and/ or directed over a dozen productions at the Garfield Center for the Arts and the Church Hill Theater. Punctuating the performance with some cameo comic moments will be Roo Bown. Brown, who is 91 years old, lives in Lewes, Delaware, and is now retired following an active career as an actress, song stylist and composer in New York. Joe has titled the show "The Young and the Ageless". Program selections include songs by Bobby Darren, Tom Lehrer, and Abba.
