  • OUR FRIENDLY WAVE 
    While walking, driving or just being in Rock Hall you will probably notice that most people wave in some form or another often lifting their hand just off the wheel of their car, nodding their head or with a true wave if they are not driving. It’s very appropriate for you to initiate or return the wave. While walking you may find yourself engaging in a conversation with a local or perhaps another visitor; it's a way of life here.
  • The Rock Hall area has more boat slips (approximately 1500 +) than full time residents (approximately 1000).
  • George Washington passed through Rock Hall on several occasions as he traveled to and from Philadelphia.

  •  In the 1950s Rock Hall had a 4 lane bowling alley.
  • Years ago, Mr. Allen Urie had a filling station on East Main Street where folks would put air in their car tires on the way to work, this at times, was an everyday occurrence for many.
