ROCK HALL ENTERS "SMALL BUSINESS REVOLUTION ON MAIN STREET" COMPETITION

The Town of Rock Hall has entered a nation-wide competition, open to nominated towns of 50,000 or less across the country, which is co-sponsored by Deluxe marketing services and celebrity entrepreneur Robert Herjavec. At stake is a $500,000 "Main Street make-over" to be awarded to the winning town, including a starring role in an on-line video series and an opportunity for your town to receive nationwide publicity.

Nominees will be judged on the criteria of: challenges faced by local small businesses; challenges faced by the town; potential uses for and impact to be made by the "Small Business Revolution on Main Street" award; and need for support and services for local businesses and communities. Make-over services will include: marketing services for small businesses; strategic support and guidance from celebrity entrepreneur Robert Herjavec; and revitalized public spaces and store-fronts to protect and re-invigorate the sense of community.

Finalists will be selected by a panel of judges from Deluxe marketing and Robert Herjavec, and voted on during National Small Business Week, May 1 - 7. With the finalists selected, it will be up to the public to vote and help choose the winning small town . The winning town's revitalization will be showcased through a web series debuting in Fall 2016 at SmallBusinessRevolution.org.

So . . . . . may the best town win!!
