Rock Hall Awarded Working Waterfront Grant

ROCK HALL AWARDED $50,000 WORKING WATERFRONT ENHANCEMENT GRANT
The Town of Rock Hall is pleased to announce the receipt of a $50,000 Working Waterfront Enhancement grant from the State Department of Natural Resources.
This newly-created funding opportunity was initiated to assist Maryland communities with working waterfronts to develop and implement master plans to guide and direct future growth.
The Town will establish a Working Waterfronts Committee comprised of a wide range of stakeholders. These stakeholders, assisted by a consultant hired by the Town, will be charged with developing an action plan and design guidelines for implementation.
The term of the grant is from February 1, 2016 to February 28, 2017.
