Have you ever wondered what it’s like to be mayor? You might just win the chance!

Mayor Brian Jones is hosting a contest for the Rock Hall community. The contest is open to those who live in the Town limits of Rock Hall and who is a student who resides in the 5th district of Kent County or anyone up to the age of 18 years old. Students in grades K through 12 are eligible.

To participate, eligible residents are asked to share their idea for making Rock Hall a better place to live, work and visit for. Submissions can include an essay, video or form filled out online explaining your idea.

The winner will have the chance to shadow the mayor for one day where Mayor Jones, council, residents and business owners will hear the winners ideas and thoughts.

Entries will be accepted starting September 15, 2018 through to October 20th, 2018. Entries may be submitted online, emailed, faxed, mailed, or delivered to Rock Hall Town Hall. P.O. BOX 367, 5585 South Main Street, Rock Hall, MD 21661.
