Thank you Councilman Price for your service

During the March 9th Mayor and Council meeting, Councilman Olin Butch Price announced that he would not seek another term in the upcoming May 6th election.

Council member Price has been a member of the Rock Hall Town Council for 17 years. He held the position of Vice Mayor from 2003 to 2009, and 2011 to 2013.  Butch has shown much dedication to his community. In addition, Council member Price is a Past President of the Eastern Shore of Municipalities Association. He served four years in the Marine Corps including two tours of duty in Vietnam.  In 1995 Mr. Price was Commander of the Rock Hall American Legion and he is one of the original members of the Rock Hall Color Guard.

Butch's knowledge of the town's infrastructure has been a huge asset to the Town Council. Over the past years, Butch has spent countless hours with his beloved friend "the town hall boiler" :) Butch your smile, jokes and good humor will truly be missed at the town hall and during our meetings. You have been an inspiration to me and many other council members over the years.

On behalf of myself, the Town Council, Town Staff and the Citizens of Rock Hall, we say thank you for your dedication and service and wish you the very best in your future endeavors.

Mayor Brian Jones
