(4) Discuss and Recommend to Mayor and Council:
That they inform all event sponsors that a permit from the State Highway Administration is required to close any state road (i.e., Main Street, Rte. 20);
That they inform all event sponsors they need to comply with county’s recycling requirement if event involves more than 200 persons. (Note: possibly recommend that Town consider purchasing equipment that sponsor can rent);
That they inform all event sponsors they must comply with federal ADA requirements (restrooms, transportation, seating, etc., as applicable); and
That they request advice from town attorney for language that ensures sufficient liability and property insurance to protect Town and sponsors.
