Help us identify new water line installations:

Good day everyone! This one today is more of a “could you inform us” kind of article. We are seeking the help of residents in Rock Hall to let us know if you have replaced your water line on your property. Remember you will need a public works permit form from the Town Office before you start digging. The reason for the permit helps with two things…. #1 our guys come out and mark lines for water and sewer. (Letting the person know who is digging where these are located so as to be careful while exposing the water line) and #2 is so we have it on record for the state information we must inform them with. Also don’t forget before you dig to call Miss Utility (MD Eastern Shore): 1-800-441-8355 so they can mark utilities as well. Safety is key and we don’t want to see anyone get hurt. It takes a second to send me an email if you have replaced your old water line with a new line. It would be greatly appreciated. If you have changed it out, please list your name and address of where the replacement was and send it to me at dwhitman@rockhallmd.gov or call and let me know at 410-639-7611 xt5.
