Now Hiring: Executive Director / Grant Manager

Main Street Rock Hall is seeking a full-time Executive Director / Grant Manager to lead community revitalization and economic development efforts in Rock Hall.

This position plays a key role in supporting local businesses, securing and managing grant funding, and coordinating programs that strengthen the Town’s downtown and waterfront district. The ideal candidate is highly organized, motivated, and able to work collaboratively with local businesses, community organizations, municipal staff, elected officials, and volunteers.

The successful candidate will bring strong leadership skills, experience in economic development or nonprofit administration, and the ability to identify opportunities that support business growth and community development.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue grant funding opportunities for community and economic development projects
• Manage grant applications, reporting requirements, and project implementation
• Support and promote local business development initiatives
• Coordinate revitalization programs and community improvement projects
• Maintain communication and partnerships with business owners, local organizations, Town officials, and volunteers
• Manage social media, digital communications, and outreach for Main Street Rock Hall
• Assist with planning and coordination of community events and economic development initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or technical degree in a related field
• Experience in business development, nonprofit administration, or economic development preferred
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
• Experience with grant writing and grant management preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and digital communication tools
• Experience managing social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram
• Familiarity with CRM systems or website management is a plus

Additional Requirements

• Must be available to attend meetings and events outside normal business hours as needed
• Occasional travel may be required
• Position reports to the Main Street Rock Hall Board of Directors and the Rock Hall Town Manager

Salary and Benefits

Salary: $45,000 – $60,000 per year (commensurate with experience)
