Passage of Ordinance No. 2023-05 (FY'24 Budget)

The purpose of this public notice is to notify the citizens of the Town of Rock Hall of the Council’s passage of Ordinance No. 2023-05 during a special meeting held on June 29, 2023.

 

Ordinance No. 2023-05 adopts a budget and sets the real property tax rate at $0.39 per $100 of assessed valuation for the Town’s 2024 Fiscal Year.  

 

The Council introduced Ordinance No. 2023-05 during their monthly public meeting held on June 8, 2023.  Public hearings on Ordinance No. 2023-05 were held on June 15, 2023, and June 29, 2023, during which interested citizens were afforded an opportunity to provide comments and ask questions regarding the same.  

 

Ordinance No. 2023-05 is effective as of July 1, 2023.  Copies of Ordinance No. 2023-05 are available to the public on the Town’s website.
